Structure of SEM28 Drive Axle Front Half Shaft Sleeve:
It has 36 splines and is a separately manufactured tubular part. It is then tightly pressed into the mounting holes of the axle housing at both ends of the Shangong 28 drive axle housing through interference fit (hot pressing or cold pressing). After compression, it is usually further fixed with pin bolts or welding to prevent rotation or axial movement.
Half Axle sSeeve Supports The Core Skeleton Of The Wheel Hub And Wheel Assembly:
The half shaft sleeve is the direct installation base of the wheel hub bearing. The hub is precisely installed on the outer end journal of the half shaft sleeve through two tapered roller bearings, inner and outer. The weight and various forces (driving force, braking force, lateral force, impact load) borne by the entire wheel, rim, tire, and brake drum (or brake disc) are ultimately transmitted to the half shaft sleeve through the hub bearing. It is a rigid bridge that connects the wheels to the axle housing.
