Sun Gear Of Wheel Loader
The sun gear is a component of the wheel side reducer assembly of the wheel loader XCMG drive axle. The sun gear is located at the center of the planetary gear carrier assembly gear system, and these planetary gears mesh with the central sun gear and the outer ring gear. It is responsible for the final reduction of speed and increase of torque delivered to the wheels.

The sun gear is used as a four-wheel planetary gear carrier for the front drive axle of a 7-ton wheel loader XCMG. It has 17 teeth on the outside and 38 splines on the inside, with an outer diameter of 99mm and a height of 79mm. The sun gear, main reducer assembly, wheel side reducer assembly, brake caliper assembly, axle housing, and other components make up the XCMG drive axle.
